Coordinate and manage the maintenance and repair of a wide variety
of production machines and equipment with minimal downtime.
Responsible for facility maintenance, parts procurement and
inventory and production related project management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for ensuring that Maintenance employees are utilizing
safe practices and are trained in accordance with company safety
rules and guidelines. Participates in plant safety meetings.
Prioritizes and promotes safety above all else.
2.Oversees the repair and maintenance of all manufacturing
equipment including equipment used in support of manufacturing.
Manage the hourly maintenance staff, Parts Clerk and janitorial

4.Performs preventive maintenance (PM) of production equipment in
accordance with a documented schedule. Reviews PM schedule
periodically to add new equipment and verifies effectiveness.
Reviews PM notes from maintenance employees to establish corrective
action where appropriate.
5.Work with vendors for efficient and cost effective outsourcing or
contracting of work and parts/materials procurement.
6.Responsible for maintaining parts inventory. Includes
responsibility for computerized tracking systems, determination of
which parts are appropriate for stock, inventory levels and reorder

a.New equipment evaluation and installation
b.Line improvement initiatives
d.Plant and facility infrastructure upgrades
e.New construction projects
8.Responsible for department compliance of all food safety
requirements HACCP, GMPs, general housekeeping, etc.
9.Operates department in a cost-effective manner, and promotes cost
reduction across all shifts. Includes accountability for staffing
levels, overtime management, temporary hires, consumables usage,
tooling costs, etc.
10.Dedicates a set amount of time to be present on the off shifts
for the purposes of interacting with Maintenance employees,
evaluating their work, and providing training and guidance where
11.Interacts with other departments and all Company personnel in a
professional manner. Ensures that customer and vendor relationships
are handled in a professional, ethical and uncompromising

quality, regulatory compliance and legality of all products
produced and sold

Required Skills and Education:
1.Bachelors degree from accredited four-year college or university
in Engineering, Business, Finance or equivalent, or related
2.Minimum of 5-7 years experience as a proven manager in a

specifically the corrugated and/or folding carton industry with
heavy experience in electronics, mechanical, hydraulics,
pneumatics, and electricity.
4.Minimum 3-5 years corrugated manufacturing experience
5.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals and technical procedures. Ability to write reports,
business correspondence and effectively present information and
respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers
and the general public.

overall costs and help the managers/supervisors find areas that
