Seafreight Export Operator

Experienced seafreight export operator needed.

The company specializes in the Oceania trade lane. Very family like company that appreciates all staff. Great pay and benefits. Staff are the soul of our business and it shows through our success and growth. Offices in NY, IL, and CA. The position will be in our FCL export department which currently has a team of 6. Majority of business will be USA to Oceania. Start 2023 with a move to a great company. Work in a team environment that supports each other and believe it or not, has fun together.

Responsibilities

• Bookings, organizing dray, dealing with overseas agents and suppliers in the USA
  
• Vendor negotiations, quoting, managing workflow for staff,
  
• All aspects of Seafreight export.
  Requirements
  
  • Only experienced FCL export candidates need apply. Minimum 2 full years experience a must.
    
  • Must be organized and have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and on email.
    
  • Candidate must be familiar with word, excel, outlook, and Cargowise would be a huge plus but not mandatory.
    
  • Very busy multi-tasking environment that requires team players so ability to work with others in a pro-active manner is a must.
    
  • Must have ability to learn, stay motivated, be innovative, represent company in a professional manner at all times.
