Job Title: Construction Yard Manager CSI 3000 is an award-winning civil construction contractor with a specific focus within the concrete, asphalt, and hauling trades, as well as material distribution. Purpose: To be a member of the company by providing maintenance service to company yard. This position is responsible to maintain inventory of equipment and efficiently distribute equipment to staff. Transport equipment and tools to and from jobsites as needed and maintain a clean and organized yard that allows for easy access to materials and tools, while keeping shop supplies fully stocked and equipment functioning properly. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain a clean and organized yard. Ensure all CSI equipment and machinery functions properly. Make minor repairs to equipment as needed. Load and unload equipment or material when it is delivered to the yard. Deliver and pick-up equipment and supplies as needed to job sites. Inform Operation Manager of low inventory levels. Monitor repairs with outside vendors. Place material and tool orders online and store pick-ups. Place rented-equipment orders and track trough OneNote. Manage inventory control systems to minimize shortage. Control equipment the company receives and in storage. Conduct daily morning reviews with Operations Manager on the status of material for each job and the status of equipment. Monitor OneNote for project material supply. Conduct a morning and midday check in with foreman to inquire about equipment needs or issues. Assist CSI 3000 contracting drivers in the morning to load equipment and materials. Manage the log fuel use for the contracting and hauling division. Thoroughly inspect equipment upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment. Improves yard operating procedures by analyzing current systems, modifying, creating, and/or eliminating processes to guarantee accurate and timely fulfillment of crews--- orders. Perform other duties as requested. Requirements Education/Experience/Skills Ability to achieve individual and team goals Driven/Self-starter. Ability to accomplish task with little to no direction. Exceptional organizational and time management skills High school diploma or GED Basic math and computer skills The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of purchase orders CDL holder and forklift certified is a plus.
