CONDITIONAL PREAPPROVAL

• One year of experience, flatbed is a plus
• Pass pre-employment drug screen test (arranged and done prior to arriving)
• Be accepted by our insurance. Based on your MVR (Moving Violations Record) and PSP (Roadside Inspection Violations).
• Pass orientation, In-person at our Chicago office
• Road test
  There are two ways how you can become an Owner Operator with TAG Trans Inc :
• We can help you find a combination of truck and trailer trough TAG Equipment LLC. The current down payment requirement and promotion program offers may expire without notice. Lease payment vary from truck to truck, as low as $299 up to $890 per Week. Without promotion, Down Payment depends on the equipment make, model, odometer and year.
• Buy or lease a truck via ANY third party financing outside of TAG Trans Inc, and sign on with TAG Trans Inc and ripe the benefits of being part of our team and everything we can offer

  Lease-Purchase Program The lease program in place and is available through TAG EQUIPMENT LLC and there are 3 different lease programs in place :
• 15% downpayment towards truck of your choice upon qualification
• No MONEY Down with 15% downpayment deduction with in the first 20 weeks (program designed for used trucks and trailers)
• Be Commercial Truck Driver (CTD) for some of our Fleet Owner Operators for a time period of 10 months, upon completion you are automatically qualified to get into our Lease purchase program with.

  • OWN it free and clear after 2-4 years
    As you get qualified for one of our Lease-purchase programs there are some Responsibilities that come with it among other things
    • You need to be incorporated prior to arriving (LLC, S-Corp )in order to get on a lease program
    • You should be prepared to stay on the road for at least a few weeks at a time, it may be difficult to pay for everything at the beginning so your flexibility is necessary
    • $2000 Escrow account is set up in the first 10 weeks ($200x10 weeks )
    • You should keep in mind the maintenance program is mandatory (5cpm on all miles per week till you have at least 5k on that maintenance account) on older trucks that are without factory warranty, after the first 10 weeks
    • Bobtail insurance is your business responsibility and needs to be provided (we can help you out with some recommendations and guidance)
