Arrow Gear Company is  Hiring CDL Class A or B Commercial Drivers out of: Downers Grove, IL Arrow Gear is a manufacturer of high precision gears for a wide variety of industries, encompassing aerospace and commercial customers. While widely known for expertise in spiral bevel gears, Arrow offers a full range of gearing products, including spur and helical, curvic couplings and complete gearboxes. Arrow also provides a wide variety of spiral bevel gears from stock, including ground tooth gears. Interstate Drivers: - This position requires long distance driving between IL and NY. - Able to properly load, unload and secure products including all related duties. - Able to use hand cart. - Able to accurately and legibly complete all required paperwork associated with the delivery of freight. - Able to lift containers that weigh up to 60 lbs. over four feet high. - Able to repeatedly bend at the waist and neck, twist and rotate hands, wrists, shoulders, elbows, and forearms. - Able to climb to a height of 4-10 ft. - Able to maintain a daily record of duty status in accordance with company requirements. - Able to read, understand and apply information relating to trip planning for delivery of freight. - Complete any and all other tasks assigned by management for which the employee is qualified and physically able to perform, with or without a reasonable accommodation. - Prefer candidates over 24 years of age. Requirements: - Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License. - With a clean driving record. - Capability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Education and /or experience; high school diploma or equivalent. - 2 – 4 years work experience or related work experience required. - Cooperating with supervision and fellow employees. - Motivated self starter. - Enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision. - Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Desired Requirements: - Experience with forklift, stock picker, pallet jack & other warehouse equipment a plus. - Computer skills and experience in Word & Excel a plus.
