Job Description Job Description Paper Hanger : Janesville, Wisconsin Our customer in Janesville, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Paper Hangers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Paper Hanger, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to cut, process, and prepare materials according to job specifications, while ensuring safety, precision, and workflow efficiency. Responsibilities of Paper Hanger : Set up and operate machinery per job specifications, performing changeovers and material setup as needed. Read and interpret work orders or production schedules to determine materials, dimensions, and tolerances. Monitor machine operations and record production data, including logging into jobs and closing out work orders. Inspect and measure finished workpieces using tools such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and sort defective pieces and maintain a safe and clean work environment during and between shifts. Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment. Paper Hanger Requirements and Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and communicate clearly in writing and in person. Proficiency in basic math and ability to calculate rate, ratio, and percent; able to interpret bar graphs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work requirements. Comfortable presenting information in one-on-one or small group settings. Physically able to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks (push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs.) for extended periods. Capable of using hand tools and measuring devices with accuracy and manual dexterity. Pay for Paper Hanger : Starting at $17/ - $19/hour.
