Job Description:
Clean Harbors, North America's leading provider of
environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a
dedicated LOCAL Class A Dry Van Driver to join our transportation
team. In this role, you will be integral to our mission of
protecting the environment by ensuring safe and efficient
transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Your role
helps us achieve sustainable operations while adhering to strict
safety and regulatory standards. Operate Class A dry van trucks to
transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Ensure compliance
with all hazardous material regulations and safety procedures
during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
to ensure proper working conditions. Adhere to assigned routes,
schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Maintain
accurate logs of travel and cargo according to state and federal
regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
team to report delays or emergencies. Participate in regular safety
meetings and training sessions. Proficiency in operating Class A
dry van vehicles. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety
standards for transporting hazardous materials. Excellent
navigation skills and comfortable with route planning. Ability to
maintain detailed logs and records. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
