Job Description Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced , conscientious, detail oriented and enthusiastic Warewashing & Laundry – Tech to join our team. The Tech position is responsible for installing new systems, preventative maintenance calls / repairs on mechanical and electrical systems on commercial warewashing, laundry, and housekeeping chemical dispensers. Additionally, the candidate should identify sales opportunities within existing accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary job responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Maintain Warewashing & Laundry chemical dispensers through monthly service visits. Answer and respond to emergency service calls within 24 hours. Schedule and install Warewashing, Laundry and Housekeeping dispensers. Complete a service report after each preventive maintenance call on company tech. Utilize a test kit to troubleshoot Warewashing & Laundry issues. Identify sales opportunities within existing accounts, and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Prepare action plans/schedules to identify specific target accounts; communicate new sales opportunities to the appropriate sales manager. Other activities as directed by Management. Ability to utilize tools (Multimeter, Drills, and Power Tools) Mechanically inclined and understands the trouble shooting process Demonstrates ability to effectively work independently with little supervision Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions Must be detailed oriented Ability to communicate effectively and possess excellent customer service skills EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years of recent successful Warewashing & Laundry experience or experience troubleshooting & repairing dispensers on commercial dishwashers and laundry washers, etc PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and respond to client’s needs. The employee frequently is required to stand, knee or lay on floors for long periods of time, lift and carry heavy objects. Use technology to search and access detailed information on the internet and communication between home office and oneself.
