Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Technician - Pharmacy Technician Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Waukesha, WI (ONSITE) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Total Weekly Hours: 40 hrs Previous history working in hospital based retail pharmacy; Ideally within the last year Retail Pharmacy Tech - Variable - Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 4/13 Guaranteed Hours 40 hrs Primary Location: Waukesha Memorial Hospital Shift Requirements: 8 hour days and PMs. Days M-F 9:30-6; technicians will be assigned per week and rotate so no one is always opening or closing Weekend/Holiday Requirements: all technicians rotate 1 out of 6 weekends every other holiday Previous Travel: Highly preferred On Call/Call Back Requirements: None Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: Required to be registered with WI as a pharmacy technician, BLS Minimum Experience: 1 year retail pharm within the last year and recent inpatient hospital experience; Previous travel is strongly encouraged. Charting Experience Required: preferred experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory Unit Specific Skillset: Familiar with automated dispensing (ProHealth uses Omnicell); IV experience required Desired skillset: Previous history working in hospital based retail pharmacy. Scrub Colors: Any Unit overview: Traveler will be filling prescriptions, working at the register, and involved in care for patients discharging from the hospital (as it relates to their discharge medications they receive from the pharmacy). They will not be asked to give immunizations. Covid-19 Vaccine Required unless Medical or Religious Exemption applies GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
