Job Description:
Encompass Health's Van Matre Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking
a qualified Dietitian to join our expert team of health
professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes through
personalized care. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge
technology and evidence-based nutritional practices to develop diet
plans that support the recovery and health maintenance of our
patients. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to
ensure that nutritional needs are met in accordance with each
patient's specific rehabilitation requirements. This role is
perfect for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who is
committed to advancing in the field of healthcare nutrition. Assess
nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to
develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional
counseling. Consult with physicians and health care personnel to
determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients.
Monitor patient progress and adjust their dietary plans and
practices as needed. Educate patients and their families on
nutritional principles, dietary plans and diet modifications, and
food selection and preparation. Coordinate with other healthcare
providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in
research and update clinical practices based on the latest findings
in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Expert knowledge of
nutritional science and diet management. Ability to develop and
oversee patient-specific diet plans. Strong organizational and
analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Proficiency in dietary assessment software and patient
management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian
Nutritionist (RDN) credential. State licensure as a dietitian (as
required)
