be considered. An opportunity is available for a registered nurse
with expertise in the operating room to support a Level 1 Trauma
Center located in Cicero, IL. This contract position offers a
mid-shift schedule focused on a hospital that handles a wide range
of surgical specialties with high acuity. Responsibilities include
providing proficient scrub and circulate nursing care in the
operating room, supporting surgeries such as orthopedic, orthopedic
trauma, vascular, urology, and general surgery. Flexibility to
float within the facilitys scope is required to meet varying
patient care demands. Coverage includes a 5-day workweek with
8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, along with one mandatory
12-hour weekend shift (either day or night) monthly. Weekend shifts
are generally scheduled every other weekend. Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years
recent acute care experience in the operating room Level 1 Trauma
experience preferred Strong scrub and circulating skills in the OR
environment Experience with ortho, ortho trauma, vascular, urology,
and general surgery cases Familiarity with neurosurgery, open
heart/thoracic, ophthalmology, ENT, bariatric, and gynecology
considered a plus Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
required Ability to float is mandatory to support facility needs
Local candidates within a 75-mile radius preferred; pending
licenses are not accepted The hospital utilizes Cerner for
electronic charting, and scrub uniforms in navy blue are provided.

This contract role guarantees 40 hours per week with a stable
