Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Lake Geneva, WI Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,772 to $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN, Med Surg City/State: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin Shift: Day Shift (6:30A-7P) Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 01/27/2026 Job Description: We are seeking experienced nurses for the Medical Unit. The candidates must have current WI License and CPR/BLS. RN must be vaccinated for Flu. Travel RN may be required to float to other units. This position will require every other weekend & holiday and 12 hours shifts (Days) 6:30a-7p. Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act. Documents according to standards of care. Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction. Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, may include shared governance. Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care. Utilizes critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command. Requirements: Current WI License CPR/BLS certification Vaccinated for Flu Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Core Mandatory Part I Core Mandatory Part II (Nursing) Core Mandatory Part III
