Job Description:
Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Tech
Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1st Hours per Shift: 12
hours Experience: Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a
Surgical Technologist required. License: - Certifications: American
Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare
Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent required. Must-Have:
High School/GED and completion of a Surgical Technologist Program,
Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist, Client
sponsored Apprentice II Program, or ten or more years of experience
as a Surgical Tech. Description: As a member of the healthcare
team, you will collaborate with the surgical team to provide care
for patients, ensuring that their goals are met and the mission of
the organization is upheld. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
You will perform procedures in various specialties requiring
specialized knowledge and skills. This role demonstrates a higher
level of collaboration with peers in making decisions related to
surgical patient care. The schedule includes working three 12-hour
shifts from 0630 to 1900. On-call duties are optional and not
required.
