for a paraprofessional role within a school environment located in
Joliet, IL. The contract role is designed to support teachers and
assist students in an educational setting, helping to create a
positive learning experience. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting classroom teachers with instructional support and
classroom management Working directly with students to provide
academic and behavioral assistance Supervising students in various
activities throughout the school day Supporting the implementation
of lesson plans and educational programs Maintaining a safe and
orderly classroom environment Collaborating with teachers and staff
to meet student needs Desired qualifications and skills: Experience
as a paraprofessional or similar educational support role Ability
to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and
abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience,
flexibility, and a supportive attitude toward students and staff
Knowledge of basic classroom and instructional techniques Reliable
