This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for handling inbound estimate requests , supporting our outside sales team , and working closely with management and ownership . This role also provides estimating support to our other Cobra locations across Milwaukee/Madison, Central Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Northwest Indiana . Projects are also bid and performed all over the United States. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong blueprint reading skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online take-off software Experience or interest in areas such as concrete flatwork, demolition, or GPR a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Familiarity with public bids, DOT and non-DOT, State, Municipal and SAM.gov system.
