Job Description The Marketing Manager will join the PeopleReady's Marketing team with the charge to develop, implement, track and optimize marketing campaigns for the PeopleReady brand to acquire and retain new customers and workers. The ideal candidate will be a creative independent thinker with a proven track record of increasing engagement and revenue metrics with targeted audiences. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Partner with marketing leadership and PeopleReady leaders to set marketing strategy and vision to attract and retain customers and workers for the PeopleReady brand. Responsible for initiating and driving marketing strategies and execution across the PeopleReady brand. Provide thought leadership for internal and external partners, setting the standard for best-in-class marketing plans to drive engagement and consumer action Manage and execute all marketing activities including demand generation, content, retention marketing, sales enablement development, events management, association relationships and industry specific marketing communications to internal and external stakeholders. Establish multi-channel marketing goals, objectives, and deliverables to drive and accelerate business growth. Work with marketing leadership, sales strategy and enablement, and national field teams to ensure that the marketing efforts are on target, on brand and meet the needs of the organization from a lead generation, retention and thought leadership position. Conduct strategy sessions with team members to develop winning strategies and themes that are tailored to PeopleReady. Cohesive prospective customer and worker campaigns as well as existing customer and worker campaigns Identify and assess competitors and make recommendations to stay competitive in the market. Attend win/loss debriefings and develop lessons learned for future marketing efforts. Partner with marketing functions (Content, project management, digital, and creative) to create CORE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Proven ability to deliver data driven marketing programs. Experience with integrated lead generation/nurturing, up-sell/cross-sell, and retention programs and processes. Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions, balancing analytical skills and creative thinking. Extensive experience with marketing campaign reporting, optimization and execution. Experience in leading multiple projects in their entirety with strong project management. Comfortable working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and partners. Experience writing marketing and creative briefs and managing partners to achieving goals. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Marketing or Business) or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years in-depth, B2B, B2C and campaign strategy development with previous experience in staffing or transportation being ideal. Experience in using marketing automation systems (Pardot & Mailchimp preferred) and the know-how to leverage its functionality to maximize lead generation. Direct marketing experience including email, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, industry events/conferences, social media, associations and partnerships management and traditional marketing methods. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Employee is frequently required to stand, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. Requires up to 10% travel.
