Growth oriented, revenue driven self-starter. Build and strengthen relationships with both existing and new clients by delivering the desired client experience and enhanced value propositions. Strategically lead and develop the client service team. Ensure all clients' needs are promptly and accurately satisfied; ensure all deadlines are met on a timely basis; ensure quality standards are maintained and handle projects independently and creatively. Grasp/understand topics involving this specialty industry niche.How This Opportunity Is DifferentRelationship Management responsibility for Professional Services clients, principally top 25 public accounting firms and global consulting firm clients.Builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients at executive levels within the company and leads appropriate resources to address the client's risk/capital management needs.Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify, Strategize and Succeed in delivering Growth Opportunities.
  • Lead/manage a team of specialty lines professionals.
  • Coordinate actuarial, captive, and other consulting services.
  • Senior specialty (professional liability, cyber liability, employment practices liability, management/directors & officers liability) product line responsibility for all assigned clients including all communications, market interaction and related work product.
  • Maintenance of senior level underwriting relationships; oversight of all product line marketing and market relationships for team.
  • Oversee negotiations with underwriters on difficult and/or sophisticated renewals/new business opportunities. Negotiate best possible price and capacity using knowledge, expertise, and market presence for desired cover.
  • Prepare and negotiate fee-based pricing of services, ensuring account profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of service and costs associated with the client service agreement.
  • Penetration of all product line offerings. Able to understand the client, industry and risks and match them with Aon solutions.
  • Possess strong influence across the Aon organization to align resources to best serve the client needs. Solve client's most complex risk management challenges.
  • Accountable for the development of new and existing business. Deliver global service through network relationships, where applicable, including local Aon offices/producer network.
  • Develop new client opportunities for Aon in the accounting, consulting and other professional service firm arena.
  • Analyze the range of risk financing programs commercially available. Perform coverage comparisons with brokers across all major lines of business.
  • Secure existing business and drive the sale of additional services and coverages across solution lines. Work at a strategic level to cultivate relationships with the client.
  • Identify and generate new and penetration business opportunities across all solution lines. Collaborate with Producers on new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Aon's resources and capabilities. Leverage the Aon network to achieve client risk objectives. Conduct periodic needs assessment of client's business objectives and coordinate Aon resources to execute solutions.
  • Remain current on all relevant industry data and introduce innovative ideas to help clients contemplate risk management with new perspective.
  • Frequent International travel required.Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

    • Results oriented.Education: Bachelor's degree required. Actuarial or CFA designations will be considered. MBA or other graduate degree a plus. Insurance licensing as required but not necessary to be considered.Minimum 15 years specialty insurance experience.Will consider candidates with insurance and reinsurance broking, underwriting, actuarial, captive, or commercial insurance/reinsurance company and claims experience - preferably in professional, financial or management liability lines.Corporate risk management experience, especially in a professional services firm environment will also be considered.How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plan in addition to base salary.
